Amber Li is a freelance graphic designer based in New York. She is interested in making and breaking what we know as designers in the realms of systems, type, and motion. She is also dedicated to understanding and practicing the historical precedents of the field in the forms of calligraphy, book binding, and the letterpress. Her downtime is occupied by whatever all-consuming new interest she takes up (currently: building up a vintage road bike, past: chainmaille, sewing, and linocut printing).
She holds a BFA from the Carnegie Mellon University School of Design.
